My childhood days

I spent my childhood till the age of 7 at Rajasthan in a colony built up on the steps of the hilly wooded area 20-25 miles away from the Kota city for the engineers working for the construction of barrages on Chambal River. My father was one of the senior mechanical engineers and the officer in charge of the heavy and light vehicles. My father had 6 years of service contract with the company, which finished when I was 7 years old. My formal schooling could not be availed there, but my parents had trained me during this period.
My father was my Friend-Philosopher-Guide. He used to say, “Your natural spontaneous likings might be the natural needs of your Body and Mind”. At that young age I accepted is as a general statement but later I analyzed & found several entities: ‘Me’, ‘My likings’, ‘My needs’, ‘My body’,& ‘My mind’. For the first time I realized that there are so many entities and each one has its need, fatigues, and commands on other entities, spontaneous relation to nature, and Then, I found myself separate from my body & mind.
Search for my “Self” began, then…
